Acme Bar & Coffee // After Black Cafe

While I was typing the title of this post I came to realise that both the cafe/restaurant's names have the initials ABC. What a coincidence! A week ago, my family and I went to try out the Acme Bar & Coffee restaurant at pavilion and 2 days before my birthday I went for dinner with my uni babes at the After Black cafe. Without any further ado, let the pictures do the talking!

First stop, Acme, Bar and Coffee. The reason why I wanted to visit that restaurant is because I've seen a lot of good reviews about it and their sizzling brownies look really good (in pictures). At first, I thought it was a restaurant that serves mainly western dishes but hell no, they do serve fusion and other types of dishes.

Here's a part of the menu.

To be honest, I expected more main dishes but unfortunately the choices were very limited.

Ordered a piece of fruit cake and it was not bad! RM 13.90.
Made of 4 types of fruit jams with cherries, a raspberry, blueberries and strawberries on top.

Untitled
Ordered a glass of fresh juice. Can't exactly remember what this was. RM 19.90.

Untitled
Shared a glass of cucumber + basil lemonade with my sis. RM 15.90.

Untitled
My sis ordered a bowl of salmon rice. RM45-ish. Moderate portion but she said it tasted pretty good.

Untitled
Here's mine, thai grilled chicken breast with butter rice. RM39.

And the moment we have been waiting for..

Untitled
Sizzling brownie with oreo ice cream! RM19.

Untitled
I really liked the brownie as it was not as sweet as the other brownies. Oh and, it contains almonds! Definitely worth the try. 😋

Next up, after black cafe in Bandar Sunway.

The place was crowded that evening.

I ordered a plate of aglio olio for RM6.90. Price is reasonable for a moderate portion. It doesn't taste like your ordinary aglio olio cuz it doesn't have a strong garlic taste and not sure if it's just me or it tasted like some kind of herb. 😐

Dionne's tomato spaghetti (not sure what it's called), also RM 6.90.

Untitled
Flat white, RM9.90.

My sis and I discovered that daiso now sells bath bombs too so we decided to buy one and give it a try (just for fun though we don't have a bathtub at home, obv.).

Untitled
The packaging was pretty cute.

Untitled
Here it is, the bath bomb was really small. I will never buy it again because I don't see any sort of usefulness in it seriously. All that it did was to colorize your tub of water and that's all. It also contains a little toy/plastic figure of a donut inside of it.

That's all for now, I'll see you guys again soon!
