Hidden Pictures (Shanghai & Hangzhou trip '13)

Hello everyone! I'm blogging in the middle of the night. I'm not feeling sleepy or tired yet. Feeling quite hyper actually. It must be the supper that I've taken not long ago.. Hahahaha. So how was the raya holidays? I bet most of you have already enjoyed yourselves a lot. Going for vacations, hanging out with your buddies, spending quality times with your family members. Except.. Me. I spent my second week of holidays doing my homework. Because I didn't complete all my homework earlier so yeah. Being a good kid here. *grins and shows peace sign*

And erm, anyway, I'm here to share some pictures with you all. These are the pictures that I'd left out for those previous Shanghai or Hangzhou trip post. All are taken by using iphone or my xperia.

My first time baking cupcakes!

I couldn't believe that I had succeeded at my first attempt at baking. It was absolutely pleasant. :D I had my first baking experience about 3 days ago, that is, the first day of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri which was last Thursday. To me, it was an unforgettable experience. I did this with my bestie, See Qing and also with my little sister. We baked red velvet cupcakes! Without See Qing's tools and both of their (See Qing & my sis) assistance, I believe that I'll never be able to bake such lovely cupcakes. YAY for our success! :D

If you're here for a baking tutorial post, I apologize because this isn't meant to be a tutorial post. We used pre-packaged red velvet cupcake mix.

Anyway, if you're here for an advice as it's your first time baking cupcakes, I would suggest you to beat the butter till it's light and fluffy then only you start to mix in the sugar/powder/flour followed by the other ingredients like eggs and milk. Then you may follow the rest of the instructions stated on the internet/cake box or any other materials like books or magazines. :)

Looking at the successful outcome makes me feel extremely happy. I bet you will, too. :)

I actually took two more videos on instagram and apparently it can't be viewed by using the desktop so yeah, I didn't share those two videos with you all here. Feel free to visit my instagram! :)

Shanghai trip day 4 > Back to Malaysia!

Only two more days till Hari Raya Aidilfitri! I would like to wish all my friends selamat hari raya in advance and happy holidays! Enjoy your holidays to the fullest! Hehehe. I've got nothing much to say then, just wanted to come to this little space of mine to post/share some of the pictures of my last trip to China which was months ago. How I wish I'll have the chance to visit some other places sometime. :)

Woke up early in the morning, went for breakfast and then we went to visit the Yuyuan place for a short while before going to the airport to catch our flight. Then we went back to our hotel to get all the luggage and off we go! We departed from the Shanghai international airport by 3 something in the afternoon and we were back in KL at about 9 something at night. We were all jet lagged by the time we reach the KL airport.

Before boarding our flight, we had our lunch at the airport departure hall. The price of the food there is seriously not cheap. We had a plate of fried rice and a bowl of noodles and that had costed us about RM70. It was crazy.
