Trip to China : Hangzhou Day 2!

Hello guys! I know a lot of you are looking forward to a new post, hence I am here today to update my blog again, even though it's a schooling day today and I am supposed to get my homework done by now instead of updating my blog. But it's alright, I'll just do it for my readers as I love them. Hehehe. Let me start off with this post then.

On the second day of our stay in Hangzhou, we woke up at about 6.30 in the morning. We were expecting the weather to be good on that day but sadly it rained for almost the entire day. We started off the day by walking to the nearby shopping centre to have our lunch there. We had our meal at the restaurant, 一茶一座 again.

I had vegetable soup with rice as my lunch of the day. :)

After having our lunch, we took the cab to the area around west lake. We planned to go to the 雷峰塔, which is the Lei Feng pagoda for a visit. We walked along the paths in the Lei Feng area in order to reach the pagoda.

As it was a rainy day, the scenery was also a bit blur in vision.

According to what I know, these are the remains of the old Lei Feng pagoda before it was rebuilt into a new one.

We took the lift to the highest floor of the pagoda after that.

The ceiling of the highest floor of the pagoda is interesting as it is gold in colour and it has many little figurines in it.

Boats floating on the surface of the West Lake. We walked out of the Lei Feng pagoda's area and walked back to our hotel. The way back to our hotel wasn't easy for us as we were unsure of the ways. We had a great journey walking back to our hotel as we explored the roads along the way. It was like an adventure for us.

At night, we went to the area which is near to the He Fang street. After that, we went to the shopping mall again to do some shopping.
