This must be the only post where its title is longer than the rest of the posts. Hey everyone! I know I've been posting a lot recently but this is the only time where I can relax a little and take some time out to blog. Anyway, 2016 will be here tomorrow and the old 2015 will now be a past. Allow me to take just a few seconds to summarise my 2015 here. Here we go.
The 2015 is the year where I stepped into another whole new different stage in life. I'm now officially legal to drink and buy lottery (just kidding). I've started to drive and attending college and this is where my perspective towards life and everything changes again. This is the year where I received my results for spm, attended my school's hari anugerah cemerlang and was awarded with an award for being the best history student (that was unexpected) and visited the country that I wanted to visit a long time ago which is Singapore! I would like to thank those who have helped me in my studies, for being there to guide me and to support me. This is the stage where I realised that I should be thankful for every moment I have with my friends and family. I've learnt to appreciate things even more than before. I would also like to thank those who have took their time out to listen to my rants, beared with me and stayed with me throughout the year. Well, I won't be writing any 'new year new me' bullshit. I'll still be writing as the same old me, wishing that things will go smoothly in the new upcoming year 2016 and wishing that everything will be good and wonderful. Thanks for the all the great memories, 2015. And now, let me wish you guys an advanced HAPPY NEW YEAR and have a great year ahead!
Back to today's topic. I'll be blogging about the christmas buffet lunch that I had last friday with my aunt and family, the house of seafood that I've recently tried out with my family and the 'everyone's talking about it' - take eat easy menjalara modern bakery and cafe.
First, I'll be talking about the Christmas lunch buffet at Makan Kitchen Double Tree Hilton. Once we were seated, we went to take a look at the available food sections. What caught me and my sister's attention was this printed lollipop section.
I was attracted by these desserts hence I took a plate and grabbed some of it first. There is a red velvet cupcake, a mini fruit tart, grapes coated with white chocolate and mango jelly. There's some turkey meat at the back too.
On this plate there are white chocolate coated fruits and marshmallows, red velvet cake, white chocolate lollipop, santa ginger bread, red velvet cupcake and two more pastries which I've forgotten their names lol.
Erm this may look a bit gross but it's just marshmallow and grapes coated in white chocolate which is red in colour. :/
My sister and I got the largest yogurt cup with fresh fruit toppings which were mangoes, strawberries and blueberries.
Tbh, I think the one I tasted in Singapore was better.
On Sunday, my father brought us to this restaurant named 'House of Seafood' in one utama for dinner. It's been long since I've ever had crabs.
The cute thing about the workers here is that they wear these 'crab' hats.
Mum and sis ordered a pot of tea.
We ordered both the kam hiong style and chilli crab.
We ordered 6 steamed buns.
Assorted types of noodles.
Sis ordered this cincau longan dessert for RM 5.50.
This size of the bun was pretty small though.
Spicy crab.
Kam hiong style crab.
The crabs were good but my dad and I decided that we prefer the kam hiong style one more. Each of the crab dishes were priced at around RM72.50. It's priced according to its season price list.
On yesterday's afternoon, I decided to give this bakery cafe named 'take eat easy' a try. Went there with Qing and my sister. I ordered its breakfast set B which was chicken ham, egg and cheese with bread priced at RM12.80+.
Sister ordered the cheese pizza which was around RM19+ and a fruit juice named Hawaiian that costs RM10+.
Our meal of the day!
Qing's order was a Hawaiian pizza which costs around RM16.80+
Alright, I shall stop here now!
Have a splendid new year guys!
Take care. :D
