KLCC to Avenue K (vice versa)

     
Ever since my KLCC to Pavilion sky bridge post has become the most popular post in my blog, it inspired me to write more of such posts to help you guys out with your directions around KL. :) I wouldn't dare say that I'm 100% familiar with the roads in the city but I'm just here trying my best to guide you in certain areas of the city. As a person who lives in KL, I'm happy to be able to assist you guys in finding your way towards different places. 😉 Since KLCC is one of the hot spots to visit in KL, I'm sure that you will be interested to find out what are the other malls that are connected to it too besides Pavilion. As you may have already guessed it, yes, it's Avenue K!

Located right at the opposite of both the Suria KLCC mall and the twin towers is the Avenue K shopping mall. The Avenue K mall itself is indirectly connected to the Suria KLCC mall. Why would I say that? For LRT users, you will most likely know that there is an underground LRT station that connects both Avenue K and KLCC together - aka the KLCC LRT station. However, for people who travel to KLCC by car, you might not know where the connection link between KLCC and AK is. Sure, you can reach Avenue K by just crossing the roads but don't you think it'll be a hassle? So, I hope this post will help you to get to Avenue K from KLCC without having to deal with 'crossing the road' troubles. 😀

Firstly, you have to get to the Ampang Mall wing of the Suria KLCC mall (which faces towards the direction of the Avenue K mall). Right here, you can see stores like Innisfree, Nyonya Colors, Nando's and cake sense. Remember, always ask for help at the concierge if you ever feel unsure of your directions.


Head straight towards the direction of the Nando's restaurant, which will be on your right and just continue walking straight.

Continue walking till you see this entrance which will lead you to the KLCC lrt station.

Then continue walking straight in the tunnel till you reach the lrt station.

Here, at the end of the underground tunnel, you will immediately spot the KLCC lrt station.

Here it is, the KLCC lrt station.

Of course, do not head towards the lrt station entrance hahaha. Just continue walking till you spot a H&M store on your left.

Here you are nearing the entrance of the Avenue K mall. Just take the escalators up and you will see shops like Subway and other food stores. You are now in Avenue K!

Taking one more escalator to head towards the ground floor of Avenue K mall.

After taking the escalator up, you will find yourself at the ground floor of the AK mall! :)


You'll find sephora right infront of you when you've arrived at the ground floor of the mall.
