Hi lovelies! How was your day? Hope you had a good one and on a brighter note, tomorrow is friday! YASSS FRIYAYYYY! Ever since holidays had started, I've been repeating the same typical holiday routine like all the previous times/years. That includes eating, playing with my gadgets all day long and sleeping. I literally spend almost 10+ hours watching youtube videos every day. What am I doing with my life seriously lolz.
On the other hand, I'm proud of myself because I've started on my workout journey! Of course, I'm a beginner at such things and I wouldn't dare say that I'm good at it but I'm still really pleased with myself for taking the initiative to do it. I have gained a lot of weight after my high school days, probably due to the lack of physical exercises and come to think of it, I ran a lot back then because of my hectic duties (ya know when teachers kept asking you to do this and that) that's why I was a lot thinner. I hope I could keep up with such 'healthy' exercising routines and not giving up on it because I really really need to shed some weight off. Dem fat thighs tho.
Sundays are our family days so my family and I will usually visit shopping malls in the evening. We came across a Sunway Velocity banner on the side of a road nearby ikea cheras last week so I suggested to the fam that we should give it a visit since some of my friends said that it's quite a nice mall (ok I'm the one who does the suggestion most of the time). The interior of the mall reminds me very much of sunway pyramid except that this one's a bit smaller (I think?).
Tried the black pepper chicken doria (cheese baked rice) for the first time. It was quite good but the more you eat the spicier it gets. 😣
Every time when I walk past this fried ice cream store, it would remind me a lot of my childhood days. When I was little, I used to buy fried ice creams from a little store inside carrefour. Back in those days, one fried ice cream only costed about RM3 or 4 and now it's priced at minimum RM6-7 for one?! Crazy.
Tbh, I don't think it's worth the money. This thing is RM14 wth. It tasted like some ordinary strawberry ice cream that you can find in the supermarket with just a touch of fanciness to it. The only interesting thing about it is that it's in roll forms.
Yesterday, I went back to school for a mini gym workout session with Dio babe and after that, we went for breakfast at Strangers at 47. I know I know, after the meal I gained back all the calories I've burnt earlier. 😓
They have sweet or savory crepes. As for the savory, Dio and I shared a BBC crepe (don't think dirty ya). RM 24. Not bad for a breakfast platter but the crepe was quite small...
I love the ambiance of the cafe, service was good and the staffs are friendly. That's one satisfied customer here. 😜
As for the sweet, I ordered a red velvet crepe. It has a cute name called the 'red riding hood'. RM11.50. What I like about their crepes is that it's so so soft! But I didn't really like its fillings. I would say the taste of the strawberry jam has overpowered the crepe's taste itself. But I would give an A for the presentation. 😛
Baked some red velvet cupcakes this afternoon and they turned out to be amazing!
That's all that I've got to update you guys for now.
Hope you've enjoyed the post!
See you guys again soon and take care. 💖
