I don't really have nice titles for my blog posts lately as I'm really lazy to think about a proper one. And hey, it's already June! That means it's summertime! Summer reminds me of bikinis, beach parties and even sun bathing activities! Well, we're having summer in our country almost everyday so it's nothing special to us. How sad. Hahahaha. I'm here today to blog randomly about my recent activities with my friends and family. So, it'll just be a short post but I hope you'll enjoy it. :D

Whenever I have tuition on fridays, I'll surely go for my dinner at a nearby cafe. Usually, I'll have my dinner at a typical chinese cafe but this time I decided to go for a change and tried this japanese rice ball cafe named sumo onigiri with my tuition mates. The environment in the cafe is nice but the food was just meh.

Chilling with my sis and Qing before tuition starts!

Our school was having a teacher's day celebration and the prefects were selling roses on that day! Went to Erica's place to help her out with the wrapping and stuff.

Look at these huge amounts of roses!

I bought 3 stalks of roses and someone gifted me one so all altogether I had 4 stalks of roses! :D

Free from the mid terms!

Hello everyone! Woohoo! Finally we are now free from the mid term exams! It had been so long since I last updated my blog. But, I'm glad that there are still readers reading my blog. My current popular posts are the Shanghai and hangzhou trip, KLCC to Pavilion skybridge and DIY phone case posts! I have to admit there there aren't many things to blog about especially this year as I'm always busy with tuition classes, school activities, examinations and homeworks. I need some breathing space please.

Haha, so how's everything? Are you planning to go on a vacation to somewhere or just staying at home during the June holidays? No matter you're staying at home or you're going somewhere else, do enjoy your holidays! I can't wait to hangout with my dear Qing again! I bet June is going to be quite a hectic month for all of us students. On the other hand, the trials are coming in 3 months time and the spm examination is coming in about 5 more months. Getting all nervous about it but I will try my best! :)

Before I leave, let me share some of my recently captured pictures with everyone of you here,

DIY multiple-paged card with a little updates!

Oh, it really is dusty. Whoops, I was just talking about the blog, hehe. So HELLO GUYS! How are you doing recently? Life has it's ups and downs so I'm pretty sure that not everyone of us are experiencing happy moments or happenings every single day. For me, I would just want to keep my life simple and neutral with no unnecessary stress or problems. But it seems like I just can't get rid of it. Whatever happens, I have to tell myself to stay strong and always try my best to do something that is within my abilities. :)

>> I'm going to post about a diy tutorial today, yay! It's about making your own multiple-paged card! I'm not sure if you guys would really like this method but I find it easier compared to other methods that I can find online. It's simple and it doesn't require staplers. You'll need a bit of an effort and a piece of ribbon. :D

Here's some pictures of my creation,

These are some of the materials that I used in making the card.

All you need is just a ruler for measurements, a pencil to do some marking, a stationary knife blade, papers or card sheets (depending on how thick you want your card to be and how many pages you want to create out of it) and a long piece of ribbon of your choice! I'm using card sheets that are just slightly thicker than normal A4 sized papers so it's easier to for me to do all the jobs! I would highly recommend you guys to use a ribbon with a smaller diameter to create a better looking multiple-paged card. :)

The things required to make your card. Here, I'm using smaller pieces of paper just to demonstrate on how to complete the entire process.

Untitled
Select the ribbon of your choice. :)

Untitled
First, fold your card or paper into half to create a crease in the middle.

Untitled
Next, unfold your card and start measuring the length between the gaps that are needed to be cut for the ribbon to go through it.

Untitled
Measure depending on how large you want the gaps and the holes to be.

Draw it till the end of the card..

Untitled
Next, cut the line that you have drawn earlier.

Untitled
The holes should appear like this.

Untitled
Pull the ribbon through the first hole of the card.

Untitled

Untitled
Then, combine the other card and continue to pull the ribbon through the first hole of the other card.

Untitled
Like so.

Untitled

Untitled
Repeat this step until you have completed in inserting the ribbon through the holes of all the cards.

Untitled
Then you'll have something like this.

Untitled
Flip it over and you have this.

Untitled
Adjust and pull the ribbon tighter in order to complete the process. But never pull the ribbon until it's too tight in order to prevent damage to the card.

Untitled
After you have pulled the card, pull both ends of the ribbon together to tie to each other. You can also decide on how you want to end your card by using other methods of your choice. :)

blog 24 march
As for mine, I tied it this way.

I tied the ribbon upwards to form a beautiful ribbon on top. :)

And basically the last step is to decorate your card! And now, you have your own multiple-paged card! :D

Here's some little updates :

Took this picture last week in KLIA to send my mum to the airport. I really love the scenery of the airport. With bright lights and different types of airplanes. :)

So... it's my birthday today! It was truly an unforgettable one. Unlike the other birthdays, this was plain simple but meaningful. Received lots of wishes from everyone and most importantly, presents from my loved ones! Yay! Thank you all for making my birthday an awesome one!

Upon stepping into the class, I was greeted with a birthday song that was sung by the girl classmates. I was feeling both stunned and at the same time, happy of course. Thanks to my babes Qing, Slo, Huey Syuen and Javier.

Another event that happened today was.. it was the first day of exam today! Hahaha how lucky am I.

That's all for now, see you guys again soon!
