Despite the lack of audience in this little space, nevertheless, I'm still posting something new for you guys today. This post is specially dedicated to my number 1 supporter/ fan/ reader and banana mate, BRENDA CHAN! I gotchu my g. 🍌

In today's episode, we're going to be doing another round of what's up Starbucks? In conjunction with the month of October- psst Halloween, Starbucks has released a special limited time only drink which is the Dracula Frappuccino. Heh heh heh heh..

I don't understand why I'm always up for such weird drinks. I think I'm always easily conned by advertisements and internet reviews. Someone needs to stop me.

Again, as you guys know me so well you'd know that I wouldn't spend RM21.20 just to buy a venti-sized Dracula Frappuccino after the previous PSL episode right?

I'll never learn.

Here's my underwhelming looking cup of Dracula Frappuccino which looked absolutely dissimilar to the one in the picture above. The one above looks so sexy whilst mine looks.. 10x miserable.

I gotchu review brah, I truly do.

Aside from the erm, dissimilar appearances between these two, let's talk about its contents. According to Starbucks, it's made of sweet fig and raspberry juice, milk and chocolate whipped cream. It does sound really delicious!

But what does it really taste like? Okay, first of all, I have to say it tasted a lot better than the PSL because it's not insanely sweet. But, in my most honest opinion, I think it was kinda meh. It tasted pretty boring. Imagine mixing both milk with strawberry and raspberry jam together.. Yeah, that's exactly how it tasted like. 

Haih, I have lost all my hopes.

But if I were to choose between PSL and this, I think I'd go for this one since it's less sweet. 

Somebody needs to start a petition to bring the cotton candy frappe back.

Fall is here! And what does this mean?

We get to be BASIC B*TCHES!

Everyone's favourite season is here. Fall is all about ugg boots, sweaters, scarves, scented candles and of course, PUMPKIN SPICE LATTES! 🍂✨

Except here in Malaysia, we don't experience fall and it's pretty much summer here everyday- the f*cking hot weather man. But, I guess it's monsoon season now here in the Peninsular because it's raining like crazy almost every day here in Kuala Lumpur. The weather is being so bipolar! At one moment the sun is shining like crazy and suddenly in the next 20 mins, the sky turns cloudy and there comes the heavy downpour. It's just so unpredictable.

Being a basic bitch (a lowkey one), I'm 'shooketh' to hear that Pumpkin Spice Latte is finally available here in Malaysia. It has never occurred to me that it is possible that one day the 'ever famous fall basic bitch drink' will ever be sold in Malaysia. I have heard lots of good things about the PSL from the internet, as usual. They say it's amazing and yadda yadda yadda.

You wouldn't even need to guess what I did next because you all know me so well you'll know that I wouldn't spend RM19.60 on buying a grande-sized PSL Frappuccino right?

Damn, I just let the cat out of the bag didn't I?

I always believe that when you're curious about something, you'll just have to find it out for yourself. And so I did.

Here's my cup of RM19.60 PSL frappe.

I know right? It does look like some ordinary chocolate frappucinos that we usually order. It doesn't look really fancy or anything. Okay to be fair, it does have a very faint orange tint to the drink but other than that, it looks pretty much like the ordinary frappucinos. :)

I wasn't really impressed. 😂

I'm sure most of you must wonder how does this pumpkin spice latte taste like. First things first, I must say it doesn't taste anything like pumpkin at all. According to wikipedia, PSL is a coffee drink with spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and clove.. and nothing much pumpkin related.

Let me be honest with you guys, all that I can taste from this drink is definitely both and coffee and the strong taste of cinnamon only. It does have a slight bitter spice taste which I don't hate but other than that, I think it just tasted like some ordinary sweetened coffee with pinches of cinnamon powder in it. Sorry to disappoint you PSL fanatics, I really can't understand the hype behind this drink. It wasn't bad but it's nothing bombastic either.

My thoughts about this drink is that it's definitely not something I'd see myself buying frequently in the future (during autumn). It was definitely cool to be able to taste the real thing in real life already since I'm only seeing it on the internet all the time. Will I recommend this to any of my people? Not really, unless you love insanely sweet coffee and cinnamon flavoured stuff.

Don't get me wrong, I still love Starbucks and especially their soy lattes.
